In 2012, after using Myob in her practice for over 20 years, Director, Kristen Kubank, implemented Xero and a CRM called Sugar for a client who was using 5 disjointed systems, an over budgeted finance department and no real time reporting. The outcome for this business inspired Kristen to also utilise her Bachelor of Education and become Xero’s first Accredited SA / NT Trainer. She knew that in 2012, with the industry only having a handful of Xero apps that this market was going to explode, and cloud integrators would be necessary for businesses to transition to Xero and apps to achieve the desired reporting.
In 2014, Kristen Kubank and Scott Elder founded Catalyst Cloud Solutions to specialise in the accounting, Xero training and cloud integration space. Now with over 800 apps on the Xero marketplace, Catalyst Cloud Solutions decided to focus purely on two services, Accounting & App Advisory. From here, KPI Business Advisory and App Advisory have been born.
